We started CrateHop because we kept running into the same problem every time we moved. Clean, sturdy boxes were harder to find than they should be, and the alternatives were either a cardboard scavenger hunt or a garage full of cracked storage tubs. There had to be a better way, so we started it.

Pick your package, choose your delivery date, and enter your address. The delivery fee calculates automatically based on where you are.
Step 2
We deliver before your move.
The CrateHop team calls or texts before heading over. Please be home. It only takes a few minutes and counting the boxes together before we leave protects both of us.
Step 3
We pick up when you're done.
Stack empty boxes by your door on your reserved pickup day. We come get them. No recycling run, no storage problem, no broken-down cardboard to deal with.
What you get with every moving box rental.
Every CrateHop package includes delivery to your door, pickup on your reserved day, one dolly, and labels for every box. Choose one week or two weeks at booking. Delivery and pickup are free within 15 miles of Fort Smith, and a distance fee beyond that is calculated at $1.50/per mile up to 75 miles.
Each box is 27″ × 17″ × 12″ with a capacity of about 2.5 cubic feet. They have attached lids that latch closed without tape, andles on both sides for easy carrying, and stack safely up to 5 high. The boxes can hold up to 100 pounds.

Who's behind CrateHop
We’re Brett and Kendra Shrable, the husband-and-wife team behind CrateHop, a moving box rental company in Fort Smith.
Brett is the defensive coordinator at Northside High School, and between the two of us we've done enough moving over the years to know exactly what it costs you in time, energy, and patience. Kendra moved from central Arkansas to Mountain Home when we got married, Brett had been coaching his way through the state before that, and then we made the move to Fort Smith together last year. We'd spend an evening driving around looking for cardboard that wasn't already crushed, and if you know Kendra at all, you know she is not a fan of spiders.
Every free box got inspected before it came through the door because used cardboard carries spiders, silverfish, and worse. Bed bugs travel that way (the EPA recommends avoiding used cardboard for exactly this reason). So do rodents. We tried buying plastic storage tubs too. Better than cardboard, but pack them too heavy and the lid cracks. Stack them and the lid cracks. They were never a complete seal, and after the move you've got 20 tubs in a closet waiting for next time.
