We've moved enough times to know the drill: the midnight box inspection checking for spiders, hoping the cardboard from behind a grocery store wasn't home to anything you didn't want coming with you. Our boxes are disinfected between every rental. Plastic doesn't harbor pests or absorb moisture so you only take everything you want and nothing you don't.
No tubs cluttering up a garage
We tried the cheap tub route too. The lids crack under weight. They're never a complete seal. And then you've got 20 tubs with nowhere to go until the next move, which might be five years away. Our boxes go back to us when you're done.

Done when you're done
Stack the empty boxes by your door on pickup day and we'll pick them up at your scheduled time. Your new place never has a pile of broken-down cardboard in the corner waiting for you to deal with.

No prepping before packing
Open the box and start packing. The lids latch so no tape, no scissors, no folding anything into shape at 10pm. Each box is 27"x17"x12", holds up to 100 pounds, and can stack up to 5 high.

Frequently asked questions
During the summer we deliver Monday through Friday between 6pm-9pm, and Saturday through Sunday between 8am and 6pm. We pick up during those same windows on your reserved pickup day.
Fall and Winter hours will be posted at a later date.
If those hours don’t work for you, let us know in the notes at checkout and we’ll do our best to find a time that does. You’ll get a confirmation email when you book, a reminder two days before delivery, and another two days before pickup. We call or text before heading over for both delivery and pickup.
Yes, we ask that you’re home for both. It only takes a few minutes and it means we can count the boxes together and note the condition of everything before and after. That protects you just as much as it protects us.
If being home truly isn’t possible, reach out before your delivery or pickup day and we’ll do our best to work something out. We can’t guarantee flexibility without advance notice, but we’re reasonable people.
Absolutely. Every box is cleaned and disinfected between rentals.
Plastic doesn’t absorb moisture, odors, or harbor pests the way cardboard does. Used cardboard boxes, especially free ones picked up behind businesses, can carry spiders, silverfish, bed bugs, and worse. Rodent activity on stored cardboard is more common than most people realize, and that includes droppings and urine.
No, that’s on us. If something spills inside a box during your move, a quick wipe-out before pickup is appreciated but not required.
Our boxes are built to handle many moves and we never rent out one on its last leg. Scratches, scuffs, and minor imperfections are expected. What we charge for is damage that affects the box’s structural integrity like a cracked wall, a broken a hinge, a lid that no longer latches, or permanent marker that can’t be removed. If a box gets damaged badly enough that it needs to be retired, we reserve the right to charge $20 per box. We document the condition of boxes at both delivery and pickup, so there are no surprises for either of us.
Please don’t write directly on the boxes, we include label inserts and cards with every order for exactly that reason. You can also write on painter’s tape and stick it to the side. Both options come off cleanly.
Permanent marker is a different story, it doesn’t come off easily, and we’ll need to charge $20 per box if a box can’t be cleaned for the next customer. The labels are there so you never have to think about it.
Each box is 27″ × 17″ × 12″ with a capacity of about 2.5 cubic feet. They have attached lids that latch closed without tape, andles on both sides for easy carrying, and stack safely up to 5 high. The boxes can hold up to 100 pounds.
